Software update

Update your spartan with 3 easy steps:

1. Download and install Suuntolink- After the download, install the software by double clicking the downloaded file

2. Connect your watch to your computer- connect your Suunto Spartan watch to your computer with the provided USB cable. SuuntoLink opens automatically after the watch has been connected.

3. Connect to SUUNTO MOVESOUNT- select Connect to Movescount account or sign up if you don´t have an account yet. After connecting to Sunnto Movescount, SuuntoLink transfers your Moves to Movescount and keeps your watch software up to date.

ECG Exact

With the Suunto training logs you have an extensive toolkit to continuously monitor your performance during and after training at your disposal. Train under you anaerobic threshold and target higher goals when developing your endurance capabilities. If you want to know how quickly you can complete a track of 200 or 400 metres at your threshold speed you can use different evaluations such as RR-intervals, Heart frequency in BPM, Heart frequency in per cent of your maximum using average and maximum heart rate. You can subsequently analyse every phase with graphics. Thanks to the heart frequency diagram in real time you can analyse the exact values. Don’t forget the rest days.

Activity Tracker

Monitor your fitness. Motivate yourself for more motion in everyday life with the activity tracker. A lot of logged data gives you an overview of your physical activity. Your Suunto Spartan Sport monitors all your activities around the clock with step and calorie information so you will always be up to date. Furthermore the watch also logs the duration and quality of your sleep. The watch gives you useful hints as to how your well-being can be maintained of improved.

GPS/ GLONASS

Be ready immediately. Quick and exact recognition of your position thanks to GLONASS-Technology. Originally, the process and application of GLONASS comes from the military sector. In contrast to GPS-Satellites that transmits on one frequency, GLONASS transmits information over two frequency bands. As such it is possible for every GLONASS receiver to compensate for the delay of the signals and measure the distance to the satellites exactly. Due to this precision, position determinations and speed measurements transmitted using GLONASS are more exact. As such you receive an immediate start with precise location determination of your routes, even in mountains, in the forest, in swamps or in cities.

Community

Compare your personal bests and training data with the peer-to-peer group in your Suunto Movescount App and use peer-to-peer coaching to support yourself and each other while reaching your goals. Discover new fantastic routes with heatmaps and plan your own route in Suunto Movescount and transfer them to the watch for navigation.

Heat maps

In Heatmaps you are shown routes, that are based on millions of Moves that are done most frequently by the worldwide Suunto Movescount community. With the help of the rich topographical maps you can plan your own routes, transfer them to your compatible Suunto watch and exploration begins. Find the coolest places to train in your neighborhood or on your travels. If you want to show everyone where exactly you are training on your travels, then share it with friends on social media.

Altimeter

FusedAlti- the exact altitude measurement due to the combination of GPS altimeter. Create exact altitude profiles and identify metorological changes in time. As such you can cancel your tour in time. The optimal solution for you as a hiker, geo-cacher or skier.

Suunto Movescount is strongly inspired from the community. Trends of your personal best, Comparisons of your peer-to-peer group, Training logs of the community and the peer-to-peer coaching platform is available to all Suunto Movescount users. Create special motion pictures with the information of your speed, location or route. You can also make a Suunto Movie out of motion pictures, 3d cards and the key numbers. Share it with your friends in social networks such as Facebook or Instagram and show everyone how active that you are.
